Body composition Analysis
A Simple 2 Minute Test,
Proving High Value Solutions
A BioImpedance Analyzer is a scientifically proven way to determine the composition of the human body with a non-invasive tool.
The BIA sends a square wave, similar to an EKG, through your body and measures how fast it travels through liquids vs. solids; does some sophisticated computing; and tells us the hydration of your cells and the quality of the cell walls, among other things. Why is that important? Simplifying the picture, the majority (60%) of your body's water should be inside the cells.
In my thirty years of practice, I rarely see this kind of hydration on a first BIA. Even people carrying water bottles with them and drinking “50% of their body’s weight in ounces” are dehydrated. How can that be?
If we miss a stressor that's prohibiting the absorption of nutrition through the cell walls, the body slowly looses its ability to heal. Either the Cell Wall is too thick with toxic "fat"; locked up by environmental toxins; or lacking redox signaling molecules. Could be bad water, too!
Many of us are familiar with a bathroom scale measurement of Fat Mass. A BIA also measures Lean Body Mass, Phase Angle (healing potential), Capacitance (cell membrane quality), BMR (energy production), BMI (health risk), and water compartments (hydration). This method of measuring body composition is used in medical schools and clinics around the world to assess the progress of health protocols. We use it for the same reason.
Enzyme nutrition, diet, exercise and lifestyle changes can help regain function, productivity, immunity, physical strength and longevity. The BIA is one of the baseline tests performed to monitor your personal progress.
Worldwide clinical use for over 20 years has demonstrated that the BIA can provide an accurate assessment of the overall health of the body. Such a simple, non-invasive test should be part of your medical file.
