Stand in front of a full length mirror. Close your eyes and march in place for 15 seconds. Come to a comfortable stand still, open your eyes and look first at your feet. Is one ahead of the other? Do they turn in or out? Do you have arches that mirror each other? Is the big toe larger than the rest of your toes? Look at your body. Is one shoulder higher than the other? Are your hips level? Are your hands hanging equally distant from your body? Are you holding your head at a tilt?
Are these discrepancies correctible with adjustments, or do you need a mechanical correction? Our bones should be symmetrical. All of our systems and organs hang from and are supported by bones. Nerves that feed the visceral organs and extremities come from the spine. Subluxations create imbalance in nerve impulses, which create pain or sickness in other parts of the body. If a chiropractic adjustment doesn't "hold", consider changing the way your feet hit the ground with orthotics. Your entire skeleton will change - allowing tendons, muscles and nerves to relax and heal.
