We are often asked this question at the initial appointment, because people are used to taking supplements that have no apparent effect. When you leave our office after your first visit, you will be equipped to monitor your own progress. You will have a copy of the Body Map, with pertinent “points” to check daily, weekly, or whenever you think of it.
For example, we often see someone hold their shoulders and stretch their neck. We immediately know that they are experiencing stress, and this person is burning off essential fatty acids in an effort to meet the challenge. If they check their Body Map, they will find that this “Universal Stress Point” can be calmed down by taking a dry essential fatty acid. In the Loomis World, taking RBS or PSOR-RBS would alleviate this physical discomfort - usually within the hour - because there are enzymes in each capsule that immediately deliver nutrients to a deficient system.
Another way to monitor progress is to keep a copy of the Signs and Symptoms form, and occasionally review the responses in the document. Some symptoms you won’t even remember having - guaranteed!
“Supplements” are liquid, powder, capsule, granule or pill. People will use supplements in an effort to provide the body with the nutrition they’re not getting from food. Unfortunately, most supplements are not from a food source. For example, carrots are a food source for vitamin A. Most vitamin companies have extracted the active ingredient (Vitamin A) from the food (carrots) and made a synthetic copy of this substance. By law, they can call this “Vitamin A”, because it has the exact same chemical composition as the Vitamin A in the carrot. However, the body will use the food-source Vitamin A completely differently than the chemical-source Vitamin A as it goes through the process of digestion and assimilation.
Another vitamin worth looking at in this manner is Vitamin D. Most softgel capsules of vitamin D come from irradiated lanolin from sheep's wool. This is not a food source, and could act like a drug in your body. Look for the herbs fenugreek, and horsetail, and eat food that has a high vitamin D content such as shitake mushrooms. Vitamin D can be converted from the action of sunlight on the skin, and if you put the shitake mushrooms in the sun, gill side up, they will have more V-D as well!
In a post by the New York Times in May, 2002, I found the first written confirmation for the general public of the danger of radioactive fallout. The article claimed that the average exposure from nuclear testing, medical radiation, x-rays and other procedures was 20 milliGrays per capita between 1951 and 2000. Since then, we have had Japan’s nuclear crisis, so that number has risen.
Shortly after Chernobyl, the people of England had a run of strange symptoms that didn’t add up to any particular diagnosis. And if they did, the proven method of treatment didn’t work. It was the World Radionics Association that determined the source of stress was the fallout.
Healthy cells are negatively charged most of the time, and bounce off their neighbor cells like the north ends of two magnets. This allows space between the cells for transportation of nutrients to the cell and waste away from the cell.
The danger of radiation toxicity is that it affects the electron transport system in every cell wall. This system keeps the charge of the outer cell wall negative until the cell has produced energy as a result of taking in nutrients. The cell wall then becomes positively charged, the electron transport system opens up, and the waste and energy leave the cell, allowing new nutrition to enter. The cell wall then becomes negatively charged, and the process starts over again. If the cell wall gets stuck in a positive charge, it will stick to its neighbors, creating abnormal cell growth. Nutrients would be unable to enter the cell, waste would not exit the cell, and the cell would die.
Hazel Parcells recommended a detoxifying bath for environmental radiation and x-rays. Dissolve one pound of sea salt and one pound of baking soda in a tub of very warm water. Do the bath at night, and stay in the water for a maximum of 20 minutes, or until the water cools. If you experience any discomfort like excess heat, headaches, or an acute exacerbation of chronic symptoms, drain the tub and get out. Do the bath three times in the first 30 days, and then once a month thereafter.
My experience with enzymes is THEY WORK. If they don’t, try this bath. On your enzyme regimen, the nutrition is getting TO the cell. Be sure it’s getting INTO the cell!
Whole food Vitamin C has six parts, and ascorbic acid is only one of them.
Here are the others: 1) Ascorbigen - the protein portion of V-C whose co-factor is copper; 2) Rutin - also known as Vitamin P, which prevents capillary fragility; 3) Bio-flavonoids - teams with Rutin and supports immune function; 4) K-Factor - helps with coagulation and clotting of the blood; 5) J-Factor - works with iron aiding the transport of oxygen….leaving ascorbic acid.
If you drew a circle and divided it into 5 parts, the sixth part would envelop the entire circle. This represents ascorbic acid, which protects and preserves the other five parts of Vitamin C. Ascorbic Acid is an anti-oxidant that prevents the other 5 parts of soft vitamin C from spoiling. It is hard - almost crystalline.
The human body can handle only 50 mg of ascorbic acid at a time. More than that and we run the risk of tissue damage! Use food sources of Vitamin C, such as US grown organic fruits and vegetables, or the herbs high in vitamin C as found in OPT, NSL or ADR formulas by Dr. Loomis.
You’ve heard the list: sugar, white flour, chemical additives, alcohol, sugar substitutes, chocolate, coffee, and so on.
What you rarely hear about is the truth of using fluoride. Dr. Richard Olrie explains that the valence of fluoride replaces the valence of iodine. The magnitude of this fact is only beginning to show its effects on the human body. The thyroid gland uses iodine to “talk” to other glands and systems. Twenty-two of the iodine pathways from the thyroid gland have been replaced by fluoride. This looks like sick thyroid symptoms, and is seen in children of younger and younger ages.
Eliminate fluoride from your toothpaste, mouthwash, dental visits and water. For thousands of years we have known that calcium and magnesium builds strong bones and teeth. Believe it. Get your needs met through foods and food source supplements. Ask about the tooth healing diet.
The body holds what it needs in suspension. The rest falls through the body with the help of gravity. White blood cells, the organs of filtration, and the vascular system pick up the (toxic) waste, or it winds up in the soft tissue – especially in the abdominal cavity, the hands and the feet.
Elimination of these substances occurs naturally in a healthy body, but if your body needs help, use my system of infrared saunas, colonic enemas, lymphatic support, and therapeutic enzymes to detoxify.
